Following safe and successful deliveries of caustic soda 50% to cruise ships in Durban and Cape Town, South Africa, a repeat client approached Fluechem for a critical supply of 80 metric tons to another cruise ship docked in Otaru, Japan.

The approval and permit process to transport the product from the mainland manufacturing plant to Otaru was intricate, requiring extensive planning and risk assessments across all stages of delivery, including collection, transportation, port access, and vessel transfer.

Despite these constraints, the pumping operation commenced and concluded within the designated window, ensuring a safe and efficient delivery.
